Nutcrafters Winter Wonderland Challenge #7


This week's challenge over at Nutcrafters is Winter Wonderland and we would love you to create a card of project with a Winter Theme.

Remember, your card or project must have a Nutcrafters image on it to quality for the prize.

This week's fabulous prize for one lucky winner is a £10 gift voucher to spend in the Nutcrafters shop.


I have used the cute snowman stamp from the set of three Christmas Trio set which is on sale for just £2.98 in the sale at the moment. The sketch that I have followed is the current one at Sweet Sunday Sketch.

1st Challenge on Re-Launched Nutcrafters Blog

The Nutcrafters blog has been relaunched and today we see the 1st Challenge.
The theme for this challenge is Autumn's In The Air. We would love to see a card or project with an autumn theme. Remember you card must have a Nutcrafters image on it to qualify for the prize. To help you along with this there is a freebie digi available on the blog Here


I have chosen to use one of the new Autumn Collection stamps on my card here and this one is called Bouquet for You, the papers are by Nitwit Designs and the sketch is the current one at Sweet Sunday Sketch.

Nutcrafters Blog Relaunch


Today we have the re-launch of the Nutcrafters Blog and we have lots to share with you today - blog candy winners, new DT members revealed, news of the relaunch of fortnightly challenges and a great little freebie digi for you to use, so please do pop on over to read all about it Here.

We also the release of some gorgeous new Winter images today and the DT have made some gorgeous samples for you to take a peek at. Here is my card using the gorgeous new Snowman who I have teamed up with some lovely Nit Wit collections papers.

Fairy Lights from Nutcrafters


Well it is Friday at last - what a long week it seems to have been. We are really busy at work at the moment and I had two exams to sit at college yesterday, so I was absolutely exhausted by the time that I got home last night. I am now looking forward to a nice lazy weekend with a bit of time for crafting I hope.

Nutcrafters and this one is called Fairy Lights. Cute or what? The princess charm that I have used on this card is also from Nutcrafters and they have a huge range of new charms that are now available at great prices Here.

It's a Boy!


I have a card to share with you today which features another of the gorgeous new stamps from Nutcrafters and this cute little Giraffe is one of the stamps from the Safari Trio which is available Here. As you can see, I have used it to make a new baby card but these stamps would also be perfect for little boy Birthday cards.


The papers and sentiment that I have used are downloads from Pink Gem Designs and the sketch that I have followed is the current one at MoJo Monday.
Like my card yesterday, this card also fits with another couple of challenges this week.
Paper Sundaes where they are looking for you to "Keep it Simple" and
DYSU where they are looking for you to add a bow to your card.

So Cute!!


I have a card to share with you today featuring one of the fabulous new stamps that have been released at Nutcrafters and this one is called Bunny and Me. The papers and lettering are a download from a Sweet Shoppe Designs and I have used a Martha Stewart punch for the flowers.


I have followed the sketch this week at Sweet Stop challenge and I am also entering this card at Papertake Weekly where they are looking for three's on your card - so I have used ribbon, a charm and little pearls on my punched flowers.

Nutshells Challenge #28 - Thank You


We have a new challenge up and running for you at Nutshells. Our friends stateside are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving and in support of this we have a thankful theme for our challenge this week, so we are asking you to create a card for Thanksgiving or a Thank You card and please remember to qualify you must use a stamp is sold in the Nutcrafters store .

I have used one of the gorgeous new images from the Cutie Pies Winter collection and this one is called Celeste. You can purchse this collection now Here and this set is part of the prize that you can win in the challenge this time around - so please go check it out Here

Nutshells Challenge #27 - A Recipie


We have a recipie challenge this time around for you at Nutshells Wednesday Challenge.

We would like you to use at least 2 buttons, ribbon and flowers on your card or project.

I have used one of the gorgeous - soon to be released - baby collection stamps on my card here. The flowers were cut with a couple of punches and I have paper pieced the little suit on this baby.

Nutshells Stripes Challenge - still ongoing


We still have one week left of the current challenge at Nutcrafters and there is a fabulous prize on offer to one lucky person which is a gorgeous Christmas set from the Greetings Farm.


This time around we are looking for your cards and project with stripes on. You can read all about the challenge and how to enter Here.

I have used another the super-cute Winter Nutshells and this one is called Sweet Treat Tash and she is now available Here. I have made her into a Christmas Gift Tag and the papers that I have used are by My Minds Eye. Flower is by prima.



This little giftcard matches the card that I made last week for the challenge using Elf Mac who is also now available and you can get him Here. There are still another couple of this collection that I have not get had time to ink up, but I am sure that they will also be making an appearance here real soon.

Nutshells Challenge #26 - Stripes



We have a new challenge up and running at Nutshells and this time we are looking for you to use stripes on your card or project.


I have used one of the soon to be released Christmas Nutshells and what a cutie he is with his pile of presents. There are a few more of these in the pipeline and they are all fabulous. The papers that I have used are all by My Minds Eye and the little flowers started out as white prima ones which I have coloured with a copic marker and then given the stickles treatment to.
The sketch that I have followed is the last week's one at Friday Sketchers(I just missed the deadline!). However it probably does qualify for the current challenge at Ba Humbug where they are looking for you to use your favourite cutie - and this certainly has to be one of my new favourite Christmas images.

Nutshells Challenge #25 - Fall colours


Our challenge this time is to make something using Fall/Autumn Colors. So it's time to get out those oranges, greens, reds, yellows--anything that reminds you of Fall. You can create anything, as long as you use products that are sold over in the Nutcrafter's store.


You have until Oct. 6th to enter. We have some exciting things happening at Nutcrafter's!! We are going to have some major releases coming soon, so be sure that you watch for those. There are some Christmas images in our Harriet Hurst line that you will just have to have in your collection!! The Christmas shop just opened at the Nutcrafter's store, so be sure to go check it out!!

I have used the Nutshells witch on my Halloween goodie bag here along with some Halloween papers left over from last year. The kids just love these sweetie bags and I really need to get some more done in time for the big day!! I also need to stop eating the sweets as I pack the bags!!!


Remember you must use ANY stamp that the Nutcrafters store carries to qualify for the prize!!! That makes it nice and easy for everyone to participate!! So go over to Nutcrafters and see the selection of stamps. Be sure to check out one of the newest additions...Pink Pamper. You will love her and part of your purchase money goes to fight Breast Cancer!!

Nutshells Challenge - Pretty in Pink


Oh, I am so sorry. I have only just realised that this post that I had scheduled, has never posted. I had set it to appear last Wednesday at the same time as the latest challenge at Nutshells and today is the first chance that I have had to look at my blog and notice that it has not appeared.


The theme for this new challenge is "Pretty in Pink". You can create anything, as long as you use a product that is sold in the Nutcrafters store and of course use Pink Somewhere on your card.

The image that I have used on this card is one from the Pink Pamper digi set that Nutcrafters have launched this year for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Nutshells Challenge #21


Challenge #21 now up and running at Nutshells Nutty Wednesdays and this time around we want you to create anything but a card!!!
This may sound scary but there is so much to choose from such as photo frames, tags, bags and charms, the alternatives to a card are endless!

I decided that I would alter a little notebook that I had bought some time ago and I was so pleased with the result that I did another one. These will be perfect to give to my grandaughter Sophie to put in along with Birthday gifts for her little friends at school.

Nutshells Challenge #19


We have another great Nutshells Challenge for you today and this time around our theme is summertime fun - so really anything that makes you think about summer. The only thing that we ask is that you use something that the Nutcrafters store sells, somewhere on your card.


I have used a couple of stamps from the soon to be released Magical Mimi set at Nutcrafters. This is a fabulous set of 5 stamps + 2 mini stamps. I have used one of the mini stamps here along with the wishing well stamp and this little mini one is just the perfect size to sit on top of the other one. The papers that I have used are all from the gorgeous Rose Garden pad from Papermania and the little flower is one from a couple of packs of beautiful flowers that the girls at Nutcrafters sent to me along with my DT stamps - thanks for these Katie and Colette - I just love flowers so they are very much appreciated.

Sneek Peek of New Nutshells stamps


I have a sneek peek today for you of a couple of stamps from the soon to be released I Scream for Ice Cream stamps at Nutcrafters.

I have used the Ice cream parlour background stamps and also the cute little nut sitting eating her ice-cream sundae.

The papers are all by Doodlebug and the flowers are by prima.


I have followed the sketch this week at Papertake Weekly another great one from the girls over there - thanks. I have also just found a new challenge at Mami Doodles and they are looking for summer cards. They also have some fab images that I am just about to purchase so look out for these soon!!

I sill have some more sneek peeks of this range and also another fab collection from Nutcrafters over the next week or so.

Nutshells Challenge # 17
