Sharon has some wonderful blog candy up for grabs to celebrate 5000 visitors since she started her blog. She also celebrated the first holy communion of one of her three beautiful daughters at the weekend. There is a beautiful photo of her daughter on her special day on her blog so pop over and leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning. Karen x
This is my first attempt at a wallet card. I really enjoyed this one and will certainly be making more of these. Used Pink Cat Studio stamps for main image and also for the sentiments, K&Co. Sparkly Sweet papers and the cat on the inside is one of a pack of 6 that I bought in the US about 2 years ago and never thought that I would use.
It is my sister Linsey's birthday today and this is the card that I have sent to her. She had a terrible cold when I spoke to her on the phone yesterday so I do hope that she is feeling a bit better today. Happy Birthday little sis.
I have received this from Janet and I am chuffed to bits as I am in awe of her cards - if you have not already had a look at her blog check it out. I now have to pass this on fo 4 other people and two of these are lovely people that I have met through the Cuddly Buddly forum, Sonia and Alison along with Stephanie my daughter and the lovely Kerry.
Heidi has one of these beautiful stamps along with other Hanglar and Stanglar stamps images on her blog. Please check out her blog as she has some wonderful creations on there. These stamps are just beautiful and they are like gold-dust to find. Thanks Heidi for giving us the change to win one.
This week's challenge on The Stamp Something blog is anything to say Thank You. I picked this stamp up yesterday when visiting Papercrafts in Elgin. They also run Funky Kits where all the Sugar Nellie stamps are created. I managed to 'adopt' this one and 2 of the new ones designed by their new designer Elizabeth Bell. I have not yet had time to get them mounted but will hopefully have a play with them next week.
I bought these Dovecraft Hint of Pink papers a couple of weeks ago and had not done anything with them I just love the colours but this is something different from the pastels that I usually use. I am happy with the finished card but need to play around with the layout. Hope you like it. I have a couple of birthdays coming up in the next few weeks so will have a play around over the weekend. Thanks again to Kerry (A load of old pickle) for the Tilda image. Karen x
I loved this challenge as the colours are really good together. I had to use a bit of pink (well it is almost lilac isn't it!!) as I really did not have many lilacs or purples in my stash. I have used one of the Tildas that Kerry sent me and really enjoyed making this card.
I am back home again and really struggling to settle back into work. We had a lovely time, weather was really good and the kids has a wonderful time. Now counting down until we head off again at the beginning of July.
When I got back there was a package that had arrived for me from Kerry with some lovely goodies and this lovely card.
Thanks again Kerry. I will post a card later this morning that I have done for Papertake Weekly Challenge with one of the Tildas that Kerry sent. Need to head off to work now.
