Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Challenge ~43 - Sketch by Donna

For our new challenge today at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp we have a fabulous sketch by our own Donna for you to follow.

I really enjoyed this sketch - thank you Donna. I have used another fab image from Tiddly Inks this week along with one of the matching sentiments and the ticket stamp was one that came as a freebie with a magazine some time ago. The papers are all by Papermania and the flowers by prima which I have edged with some ink and then a little stickled to make them sparkle.

I am also going to enter this card in the current challenge at Tiddly Inks where the challenge is "Fit for a Princess".

Have a great weekend.

Pixie Dust Challenge #33 - Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Time for a new challenge at Pixie Dust Challenge and this time we have a colour challenge for you - we would like you to use Navy, Grey/Silver and Ivory/White on your cards and projects.

I have used "One Special Night" from the Christmas collection which is available Here. I just so love this image. The papers that I have used are all scraps left over from last year and the only embelishments that I have used are a few brads and I didn't want to clutter the image.

I have followed the sketch this week at Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

Please check out the challenge blog Here to read all about the challenge this week and also to perhaps get some inspiration from the gorgeous cards from the rest of the DT this week.

Nutshells Challenge #21

Challenge #21 now up and running at Nutshells Nutty Wednesdays and this time around we want you to create anything but a card!!!
This may sound scary but there is so much to choose from such as photo frames, tags, bags and charms, the alternatives to a card are endless!

I decided that I would alter a little notebook that I had bought some time ago and I was so pleased with the result that I did another one. These will be perfect to give to my grandaughter Sophie to put in along with Birthday gifts for her little friends at school.

These cute Nutshells images are available here and the papers that I have used are all by Making Memories.

You can read all this challenge, see the gorgeous creations from the DT and also find out about the fab prize on offer Here
In the meantime, remember you must use ANY stamp that the Nutcrafters store carries to qualify for the prize!!!

The sketch that I have followed here is the current one at Friday Sketchers

Have fun.

Congratulations card with Pixie Cottage sketch

I have made this card with what I thought was the current sketch at Pixie Cottage Challenge but I am not sure what I was doing but the one that I was looking at is the one from June 2nd. Never mind, it is a great sketch, just not one that I can enter this week.

The papers that I have used are from a papermania pad and tghe image is from Pink Cat Studio and I have cut the swirls with a quickutz die.

I have had all 3 grandchildren to stay this weekend and we have had a great time - just got back from swimming and they are due to home around 3pm this afternoon, so I think it may be a really early night for me tonight.

Pixie Dust Gift Card Holder Challenge

The theme for this week's challenge at Pixie Dust Challenge is to create a gift card holder. We have a Christmas theme going on all month, so the DT have all made their card holders to fit with this theme.

I have managed to incorporate 3 images from the new Nutcrafter release which you can find Here.

The papers that I have used are all last years Christmas ones from Bo Bunny - I don't have many of these left now which is a shame as I just love the colours on these.

I have used the sketch this week at Inspirational Card Sketches which was just perfect for this little project.

I hope you have fun with this challenge and I can't wait to see what you come up with as I am always looking for new ideas for 3d projects.

Sugarplum Fairy for Sketch Saturday

Here is a card that I made following the sketch this week at Sketch Saturday.

I have used another of the fab new images that were released yesterday in the Nutcracker Collection at Pixie Dust Studio and this one is called Sugarplum Fairy and she is available Here.

This collection has a Christmas theme, but I just wanted to show that this image (and the others in the collection) could also be used on cards throughout the year and not only Christmas ones.

The papers that I have used are by Eline Pelkinhoff for Marianne Designs and I have coloured the fairy with copics.

I will be back tomorrow with my little project for the next Pixie Dust challenge.

I will be back tomorrow with another card from this collection and this time it will not be a Christmas card, just to show how versatile these images can be.

Cupcake Chef Daisy says Thanks

Well here we go, Monday again. I have already been in work for half an hour, but the sun is shining, and I am another day nearer my next holiday - so I guess it can't be that bad.

I was working most of the weekend getting a report ready for some work I have been doing with a company up in the far North of Scotland - in fact just about as far North as you can get on the Scottish mainland as it is based just about 17 miles from John O Groats. I should get it finished this morning, so my little time out yesterday to get this card done was a really welcome break from all the figures and words.

I have used one of my favourite Oscar and Daisy stamps on this one and this little cutie called Cupcake Chef Daisy is available Here on rubber and Here in digi format. The papers that I have used are all by Bo Bunny and the glittery foam flowers are from another bargain pack that I picked up last week at Poundland - what a bargain.

This card also fits in well with our monthly challenge at Squiggle Stamps which is well underway now - but you still have some time to enter - you can read all about it Here.

Have a great week.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge #42 - Stitching

We have another great challenge for you today at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and this time we are looking for some stitching on your cards. You can check out the challenge and take a peek at the fab cards and projects from the DT to inspire you with this challenge Here

I have used this cute little freebie image that I got at Tiddly Inks a while back and have never had a chance to use. I also used a tutorial on their blog on colouring black hair on this image. This is the first time that I have tried black hair and I am really pleased with it. My DT buddy Larissa is on the DT at Tiddly Inks and I am always in awe of her creations, so I hope that I have not let her down here.
The papers that I have used were a free pad with one of the crafting magazines this week and the flower is by prima.

I have chosen to follow the sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week and I am also entering this card at Tiddly Inks Challenge where they are looking for you to match the colours on your image with the colours on your paper and lastly Stamp Something are looking for something digital on your card, so this Tiddly Inks Digi just fits the bill perfectly.

Have a great week.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Sending Donkey Smiles

Welcome to our "Kickin' It for Michelle" Card Drive

We would like to share some sad news today, some of you may already know from her blog, our design team member Michelle had an accident about two weeks ago, which has left her with the loss of her right eye and a long road of recovery ahead. In an effort to cheer her up and raise awareness for what happened to Michelle we are holding a card drive in her honor. We have many generous companies and individuals helping us with this special card drive and we hope you will help too!
We are asking that everyone please create a card in dedication to Michelle and mail it off to her. We would love nothing more than to flood her mailbox with well wishes from around the world. Michelle has shared so much of herself on her blog and in her design team work and this is a just a small way for us to give back to her.

******************

Two of Whimsy Stamps lovely Artists Melissa Jenkins and Ann Vento have teamed up together to bring us this very special donkey image and matching sentiments, these are all available to download for free from the Whimsy Stamps store page.
To see more Details on the card drive and the Gorgeous cards created by the Spoon full girls and the Just Magnolia girls, and also the fabulous sponsors who have donated some amazing prizes please pop on over to the Spoon full of sugar blog

I am on holiday at the moment and unfortunately had to make my card before leaving and sop before the wonderful donkey image was ready, so I have had to use one of Di's Digital images on my card - I will need to wait until I get home to make my one with the Donkey image and will get it posted when I have.

I just know that you will all support us in this little effort that we are having for Michelle.

New Artist and New collection at Squiggle Stamps

This is a scheduled post as I am currently (hopefully) sunning myself by the pool in Spain!! To get me in the mood I have created this sunny coloured card with a couple of the new stamps by the newest artist at Squiggle Stamps -Carol Bateup. The images that I have used are Birdhouse and Flower Field

As usual these have been coloured using Copic Marker pens and I have used the whole of the Flowerfield Image and then just cut out an oval from the Birdhouse image and mounted it on top of the background one. These are available in Digi form at the moment, but will also be available in rubber very soon.

Our July challenge is also now up and running and there is a fabulous £20 voucher up for grabs this time around. You can read all about it Here and also see the gorgeous card that the host for this month's challenge Louise has created.

Have a great week.

Today is the day for the release of the new Jammin' Out collection at Pixie Dust Studio. There are some gorgeous images in the collection so be sure and visit the Pixies (links on my sidebar) to see some more of these images made up into cards and other projects.

I have used this super cute couple called Jam and Jelly (great names) on my card and the papers are from MME Oh La La collection. I have punched the flowers from scraps from these same papers. I thought that this card could be used as an engagment congratulations.

I have followed this week´s sketch at Pixie Cottage Challenge.

I hope you all enjoy these images as much as the DT have.
