Pixie Dust Studio Challenge #52 - Let it Snow

Our new challenge this week at Pixie Dust Studio is " Let it snow". Create a Christmas/Holiday card using White and non-traditional colors.

I must admit that I do prefer to go with traditional colours on my Christmas Cards, but I think that this December Pixie works really well in her blue winter coat and hat. The papers are the last bits that I have leftover from a My Minds Eye kit from last year and the sketch that I have followed is the current one at Truly Scrumptious.

Please pop on over to the challenge blog Here to read all about the challenge this week and take a peek at the gorgeous cards from the DT team this week.

Have fun.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 133 - Christmas Card

We have a new challenge up and running for you today at
A Spoon Full of Sugar
and this time around it is a real easy one for you as we are looking for Christmas creations this week.

We have two great sponsors this week, so your chances of picking up a fab prize this week is doubled. We have Whimsy Stamps and Bunny Zoes Crafts both offering fab prizes and you can read all about this and also take a peek at the gorgeous cards from the DT this week Here

I have chosen to use some gorgeous Stampin Up papers on my card here and the image is by Bugaboo Stamps. The flowers are by prima and I have sprayed them with some Glimmer Spray just to give a little bit of sparkle to them.

I hope you all have fun with this challenge and good luck.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Good morning on yet another snowy Monday.

This past weekend certainly must have been the weekend when everyone thought about putting their Christmas Trees up - there are lots appearing in the windows where I live.

We are heading off to Las Vegas and California on Friday 17th December so my husband has decided that we will not be putting the tree up this year - Bah Humbug!! - but I have not given in yet, so perhaps there may just be a little tree elf arriving in my house this evening!

I am also getting into a bit of a panic about getting all my Christmas cards finished this week as I need to get them all posted at the beginiing of next week at the latest. This is a card that I have made using the gorgeous Tree of Joy digi stamp. This has to be one of my favourite Christmas images this year and is just so quick and easy to colour and using the digi stamp works well as you can just size it to fit into nestabilities etc. The sketch that I have used is the current one at Friday Sketchers.

Have a great week

Challenge 132 - Recipie

Our Challenge this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar is chosen by our own Debbie and she has chosen a nice easy recipe for you to play along with, she would like to see 3 pattern papers, 3 buttons or flowers and three gems. I have used papers by My Minds Eye and this gorgeous little image by Whimsy Doodles on my card and I have taken the flowers option and added three tiny gems to the corner of the image.

We are sponsored this week by Digital Delights and you can read all about this and also take a look at the gorgeous samples by the DT this week Here.

I am working from home today rather than spending hours on end trying to get to and fro work so I am lovely and cosy today and have no intention of leaving the house at all today!

What a day of snow!!

I am really late with this post today - what a day. It took me 3 hours to get to work this morning (a 40 mile train journey) and then the best part of 3 hours to get back home again. Needless to say, I now have the office laptop home with me and do not intend even leaving the house tomorrow.

Just to help us forget about all this snow, I have a somewhat cheerier card to share with you today using one of the Miss Evie stamps from Squiggle Stamps. This one could be used for a Birthday, Thank-you or really any occasion. I have used Miss Evie Frills and Flowers on this card and the papers are all by Papermania.

Don't forget, you still have a couple of days to enter our monthly challenge at Squiggle Stamps which you can read all about Here we are looking for lots of Sparkle on your cards and projects, so just perfect for getting some more of those Christmas Cards done.

Have a great week and keep warm!!

Cheeky Little 50th Birthday card for Friday Sketchers

I mentioned yesterday that I have been busy with orders for cards and here is another one that I have just finished and given to the customer. I was so pleased with this one and delighted when the customer was thrilled to bits with it.

These super cute images are from Bugaboo Stamps and I just love them - I have also now purchased some of their Christmas ones and will share them at a later time.

The layout that I have used is the current sketch at Friday Sketchers and the papers are by Making Memories. The 50th Birthday circle is from TLC Creations.

This card also fits in with the theme this week at papertake weekly which is cut it out and they are looking for die cutting, punching of cutting out of images, so I think that the inside of this card would qualifly.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Anything Goes

We have a nice easy challenge for you this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar where the theme is "Anything Goes".

I have had a few cards to do to order over the past few weeks and here is one of the ones that I was working on at the Weekend. This one was a real challenge for me as I really don't do men cards! And this one came with the brief that this gentleman now lives in England but has Scottish roots, so I needed to incorporate tartan into the card.
The image is from Digi Stamp Boutique and I have used the current sketch at Truly Scrumptious where the added option is to make a Birthday Card.

Missy Claus for Cute Card Thursday

Where did the weekend go? I had planned to get this post done on Saturday morning, but I just appear to have lost 48 hours and here we are - Monday morning again.

It is really cold here today and looks like we are set for snow this week here in the Highland of Scotland. I certainly am putting on more and more clothes everyday!

I have another Christmas card to share with you today using another of the fabulous images from the Toybox collect at Pixie Dust Studios. This one is called Miss Claus and you can purchase her Here. She comes with a sack of toys, but I had to leave that part off in order to fit into the design layout of this card.

The papers are by Stampin Up - just love these ones and the sketch is the current one at Cute Card Thursday.

Keep warm and have a great week.

Hi, Tuesday morning and time for another challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar and this time around it was my turn to pick a theme, so I have asked you to use die cutting or punching on your creations this week - a nice easy one I think.
