Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Challenge #37 - Anything Goes

We have another challenge up and running today at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and this time around the theme is "anything goes" so as long as you use a digi image on your card or project then that is good with us. Please check out the challenge Here to read all about this week's challenge and also take a look at the gorgeous cards from the DT this week.

On my card this week I have used one of the fabulous images from Meljen designs - I just love these designs from Melissa. The papers are all by Papermania and the flowers are by prima.

I have used the sketch below, which is the current one at Crafts 4 Eternity

Have a great weekend and I hope that you enjoy this challenge.

PDS - Krafty Pixie Challenge

Time for another fab challenge at Pixie Dust Studio Challenge and this time around we are looking for you to use Kraft (or Brown Paper, Brown Envelope, Recycled Pizza Box etc) somewhere on your card or project. You can read all about the challenge, see what the DT have been up to and find out all about the prize this week Here.

On my card this week I have used Pocket of Love from the new On the Prairie Collection at PDS - what a great little image for a little boy's birthday. The papers I have had in my stash for ages, but just never had the right image to use with them - I guess I do now!!
The sketch that I have used this week is the current one at Papertake Weekly and what a great one this is - I will definately be using this one again.

A closer up pic of the image

Have a Krafty fun week.

Bunnies everywhere and especially at Nutty Nutshells challenge #15

Here, a bit later than planned!! is my DT card for this week's Nutshells Challenge #15. I have used another of the newly released digi collection which has just been released at Nutcrafters this week. The theme this time around has been set by Cathy and she is looking for us to make a Mother's Day card as it will be Mothers Day in the US this Sunday. If like me you live in the UK where Mothers Day has already passed, any type of card to give to a mum will be good. I have made this little gift card which is only 7.5cm and would be ideal to give with a present. The papers are by Papermania.

You can read all about the fabulous prize on offer this week and how to enter the challenge Here and don't forget to keep checking back here, where I will post the sketch challenge from Nutshells later in the week.

Honey Bunny Copics Colour Challenge card

This is my first card usingone of the bunnies from the new digi collection which has just been released at Nutcrafters this week. Katie and Colette are giving one of these little cuties away free this week on the website - go check it out Here

On this card I have used Honey Bunny with Flower for this week's Copics Colour Challenge where we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp this week. Please check it our Here and perhaps get a bit of inspiration from the the gorgeous cards from the DT with this week's pretty colours.

The papers are all from a Papermania pad and I have added some stickles to the flowers paper just for a bit of added sparkle. I have followed the sketch at Mojo Monday for this little card. (it is only 7.5cm x7.5cm)

There will be a sketch challenge later in the week over at Nutcrafters and a chance to win all these little digis so do keep checking and I will also post the details on my blog when I get them.

Have a Happy Bunny week.

PDS Release Day - On the Prairie Collection

Happy May Day Holiday Monday (it is a holiday in the UK today, not too sure if it is elsewhere!) and time for another fantastic release over at Pixie Dust Studio.

We actually have 2 collections today - the first one is the fabulous On the Prairie Collection and I think that you will agree that Kathy has done us proud here.

Here is a card that I have made using Wink Pretends from the collection. I made this card for our good friends Brian and Sheena who are leaving tomorrow morning for a new life in Turkey (lucky things). They had a party (all day) on Saturday for friends, family and neighbours and boy did we have a good time. We will miss them, but just know that they will have a fab time over in the sunshine. I have used the sketch at Truly Scrumptious and on my little tag I have added a little message coupon which says Bob Voyage.

The second collecton that we have for you is the Critter Collection that was created by Kathy's 12 year old daughter Payton - fab eh!!

I have not had a chance yet to make a card with these little cuties, but some of the DT have created gorgeous card with these and I have left a note of the blogs to visit at the bottom of this post. - Well worth a look!!

Boy, this is a long post today, but I hope you will bear with me as the following is worth reading.

Kathy has decided to give away this fab little image on her blog Here on release day (today) so grab it while you can!!

Here is my card using this cute little fish. The great thing about digis is that you can resize then and also flip them over as I have done here - so versatile. The papers here are a mixture of Doodlebug and DCWV. I am going to enter this card in the Allsorts challenge this week where they are looking for cards with animals on - well a fish is an animal (of sorts) I think!!!

Lastly as promised here is a list of the DT blogs for you to check out the gorgeous cards and projects that the rest of the girls have created with these new images.

Daisy gets Krafty

This is my little project using the theme this month at Squiggle Stamps and as you can see I have used Daisy with Balloon and as with all the other Squiggle stamps she is available in rubber and also as a Digi Image. The papers are all from a My Minds Eye set of Kraft Paper Designs. I have also cut the little coupon and also the sentiment from the same set.

Just for a change this week, I have made a little gift card holder rather than a card. I have carried the same papers through to the inside of the holder and I have used a nestability to cut the opening for the gift card to fit into.

As you can see the gift card fits just perfectly into the opening created with the nestie.

This is the first time that I have really worked with Kraft paper and I am really happy with how it turned out - perhaps you will see more bits and pieces from me using this in the future!

P.S. forgot to mention that I had followed the sketch this week at Create 4 fun

Squiggle Stamps - May Challenge

A new month and time for a new Squiggle Challenge.
Jenny had set the challenge this month and she is asking us to use KRAFT in our projects.
Dont worry if you have no Kraft available. Why not recycle? and use a manila envelope or a brown paper bag for your project/card.

As always Tracy is offering a fab prize to one locky winner and this time around there are some lovely Cupcake goodies up for grabs this month along with a fabulous set of Hero Arts sentiment stamps!!

You can read all about the challenge Here, so get those squiggle stamps and digi images out and if you still don't have any of these little cuties, get yourself over to the Squigles Shop where digi images start at just 99p.

Have fun and get Krafty. I am now off to get my project done and will post it on the Squiggles Blog tomorrow.

We are sponsored this week by Crafts U Love and they have offered a fabulous prize of 3 CC designs stamps to one lucky winner - you can read all about it Here . Such a fab prize - I do so love CC Designs stamps.

Spookily enough, before I knew what this week's sponsore prize was, I had decided to use a CC Designs image on my card for this week's challenge. This one is from the Swiss Pixies range, the papers are all from Papermania as is the sentiment and the flowers are by prima. The sketch is the current one at Anyone for Anya where they have now opened the challenge up to CC Designs stamps as well at Greetings Farm ones.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - 3D projects

Hello and welcome to another challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar and this week our challenge has been set by our own Michelle who is looking for you to create something 3D and this could be as simple as layering your image using foam squares or create something 3D.
We are sponsored this week by Bunny Zoes Crafts, so please go check out the fab prize and see what the DT have created this week Here.
I have chosen to alter a giftbag. This is one that I picked up on sale at Tesco after Mother's day. The image is one of a new collection of cute little mice from Digi Stamp Boutique and the papers are by DCWV. I have used a sentiment from Papermania and the flowers are by Prima.

The sketch that I have followed is the one at Sketch Saturday

Have a great 3D week.

Friday Sketchers - Home Sweet Home

I have managed to get a bit of time over the weekend to have a play around with the fab sketch over at Friday Sketchers this week and here is my entry.

I have used the gorgeous Home Sweet Home digi image from Squiggle Stamps, which at 99p is just brilliant value for money. The papers that I have used are all by Bo Bunny and the flowers by Bo Bunny.

Not too sure how much crafting time that I will have this week as I have the decorators in at the moment and my craft room is all packed up for the time being. It looks like that room will be the last one to get painted so I really could be climbing the walls by the end of the week. Luckily I managed to get a bit of time over the weekend to get most of my DT commitments for the week done.

Have a great week.

Pixie Dust Studios Challenge # 19 - Use a Tag

This time around at Pixie Dust Studios Challenge we are looking for you to use a tag somewhere on your card or project, we do not insist on you using a Pixie Dust Studios image, but of course we would be delighted if you did and you can see all Kathy's gorgeous digi images Here. Of course the brilliant thing about digis is that you can use them almost immediately after purchase and resize them to fit all your projects perfectly.

I have used Meadow Princess on my card and I think she must be one of my favourite images ever, the papers are all from the Papermania Rose Garden collection as is the little tag and Smile sentiment. The sketch is one from Sunday Sketch and Stamp where they are having their 1st Birthday celebrations and you can use any of the sketches that they have used over the past year. I think that this sketch is just perfect with this image so really show it off.

Please do pop on over to the blog Here to read all about the challenge and also take a peek at the gorgeous creations from the DT.

Have fun

The fab prize for this challenge is some beautiful Camelot Roses from Prima and your choice of Nutcrafters Digi stamp - you can read all about it Here
Please just remember that you must use ANY line of stamps that the Nutcrafter's store carries to qualify for the prize!!! That makes it nice and easy for everyone to participate!! So go over to Nutcrafter's and see the selection of stamps from lots of different companies such as The Greeting Farm, Stampavie, Magnolia, Ladybug & Friends, High Hopes, Buddy Bear and Sarah Kay. You can also get their own line of Nutshells, Harriet Hurst and our Digi Images. You're sure to have something you can use to win yourself a great prize.

On my card I have used one of the original Nutshells stamps - this one is called Mac and you can get her Here. The papers and sentiment are all by Papermania and the sketch that I have followed is the one at Everybody Art Challenge.

I hope you all have some fun making something Spring like.

Copics Colour Challenge #61

Here we are at Wednesday again (where does the time go?) and time for another Copics Colour Challenge. This week we welcome back another of our regular sponsors, InStyle. InStyle offer fabulous designs in digi and rubber which are just a dream to colour.
InStyle are very generously offering this weeks winner 2 digi images from their huge range.
To win, all you need to do is to create something using the following Copic Colours.

I just love these really pretty colours. But if you haven't got these colours.... well, you know the drill by now! Please just use the nearest Copic in your collection which gives roughly the same effect.

You will need to excuse the quality of my photos today. I was running really late with getting my cards finished last night and brought them into work to take the pics first thing this morning. When I got my camera out it appears that I must have left it switched on the last time and the battery had run out. I was in a real panic not knowing what to do, but then had the thought that I could try using my mobile phone - not the best quality of photo, but as this is a DT card and I did not want to let the team down - I guess that anything is better than nothing.

As you can see, I have used one of InStyle's gorgeous imnages and the papers are all by DCWV and I have just cut the little flowers from one of the pieces of paper.

Do pop on by the CCC blog Here to see the gorgeous cards from the others on the DT and read all about this week's challenge.

Oh nearly forgot to mention - I have used the current sketch at Papertake Weekly.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Birthday

Tuesday and time for another challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar.
Our theme this week was picked by Debbiewho will be celebrating her 40th birthday tomorrow, so she decided on the theme Happy Birthday.

This week sponsoring our challenge is the lovely Denise from Whimsy Stamps and she has very kindly offered our winner a $15 gift certificate to spend in the whimsy shop. Whimsy have also just released a range of digi images and Denise kindly offered the DT a chance to work with these images this week.

I have chosen this really cute turtle and I think he looks great just hanging there. The sentiment is also a Whimsy digi. The papers are from MME - bloom and grow and I have also cut the flowers from the same range of papers. I have used the sketch this week at Friday Sketchers.

I know that you will all enjoy making some Birthday cards this week and I really look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Squiggle Stamps meets Truly Scrumptious

Well here we are, start of another week and it is beautiful day here in Inverness today and this bright colours little notebook project fits in beautifully with the blue sky and sunshine here today.

I have used one of the original stamps from the first Squiggle Stamps launch on this little notebook that I have altered. This image is from the Whimsical Occasions range and is called Lovey Dovey and is available both in rubber and digi-form Here.

The papers that I have used are all from the Papermania, used Retro flower punches to cut the flowers and I have followed the current sketch at Truly Scrumptious.
I have used this lovely little stamp in the past for Wedding and Engagement cards but as you can see it is a really useful little stamp for all kinds of occasions.
