A Spoon Full of Sugar

Hi I am currently sitting at Liverpool airport awaiting a flight to Limoges in France so that I can visit my sister who moved there 2 weeks ago. We have been on holiday at our place in Spain since Friday and believe it or not this was the quickest way to get to where I need to be in France - Alicante to Liverpool and then Liverpool to Limoges!!

We have a new challenge today at A Spoon Full of Sugar and it was my turn to pick the theme and I have gone with ribbon and bows, so we would like to see some ribbon and at least one bow on your card.

I have chosen to use ond of my tresured Hanglar stamps teamed eith some gorgeous papers from craftwork cards.

Have a great week.

Pixie Dust Studio Challenge #79 - Don't forget school

Our new challenge this week at Pixie Dust Studio is Don't forget school and we are looking for school related tags or bookmarks.

As you can see, I have gone with the bookmark option and this great Pocket of Love image was just perfect. The papers are all from a Nitwit designs download.

You can read all about this week's challenge and take a look at the brilliant projects from the rest of the DT Here.

Well I won't be around for a couple of weeks as we are heading off this afternoon for a couple of weeks in the sun in Spain (well actually Spain and France in my case, as I am travelling to France for a few days next week so see my sister and brother in law's new home there. They only moved just over a week ago and I can't wait to see their new place.

Pixie Dust Studio Challenge - #78 "Let's Cool Down"

Here is my card for the new challenge this week at Pixie Dust Studio Challenge. Sorry that I am late with getting this post up, but I have been away with work for a couple of days and could not get any internet access while away in order to get this done.

New Home card

I have a couple of people that know who are about to move house real soon, so I have taken the opportunity to get one of the cards done. For this one I have used the gorgeous Bird House from the Orange Bird Studios collection at Squiggle Stamps which is available Here in rubber and also Here in digi format.

I have teamed the image with some gorgous glittery First Edition papers and a couple of flowers by prima. I have used the image for a New House card, but it would work just as well for a birthday or thank you card - in fact probably just about any occasion would work. The sketch that I have followed is the current one at Sketch Saturday.

Have a great week.

Pixie Dust Challenge #77 - Homemade Sweet Homemade

Sorry to be so late in the day with this post - but better late than never I suppose. We have a new challenge up and running today at Pixie Dust Challenge and this week we are looking for you to make all the embellishments that you use by hand. You can read all about the challenge this week and take a little peek at the gorgeous projects from the DT Here.

I have chosen to use one of the new images from the Playpen Pets Collection that will be released by Pixie Dust Studios tomorrow and I will be back again tomorrow to let you see the whole collection along with another card featuring one of these gorgeous new images. I have used NitWit papers on this card and I have cut out the various embellishments such as the clouds, fences and flowers. I am also entering this card at Cute Card Thursday where they are looking for you to embellish your main image. I have used glossy accents, glitter and a white pen to make dots on the canopy, so I hope that this meets the criteria.

We have had the most gorgeous weather here today and looks like it will be the same tomorrow, so I do hope that the sun is also shining for you where ever you are.
