First Wallet Card

Front of Card

Inside of Card

This is my first attempt at a wallet card. I really enjoyed this one and will certainly be making more of these. Used Pink Cat Studio stamps for main image and also for the sentiments, K&Co. Sparkly Sweet papers and the cat on the inside is one of a pack of 6 that I bought in the US about 2 years ago and never thought that I would use.

Stamp Something Challenge

This week's challenge on The Stamp Something blog is anything to say Thank You.
I picked this stamp up yesterday when visiting Papercrafts in Elgin. They also run Funky Kits where all the Sugar Nellie stamps are created. I managed to 'adopt' this one and 2 of the new ones designed by their new designer Elizabeth Bell. I have not yet had time to get them mounted but will hopefully have a play with them next week.

Trying something different

I bought these Dovecraft Hint of Pink papers a couple of weeks ago and had not done anything with them I just love the colours but this is something different from the pastels that I usually use. I am happy with the finished card but need to play around with the layout. Hope you like it. I have a couple of birthdays coming up in the next few weeks so will have a play around over the weekend.
Thanks again to Kerry (A load of old pickle) for the Tilda image.

PTW Luscious Lime and Lilac

I loved this challenge as the colours are really good together. I had to use a bit of pink (well it is almost lilac isn't it!!) as I really did not have many lilacs or purples in my stash. I have used one of the Tildas that Kerry sent me and really enjoyed making this card.

Back Home Again

I am back home again and really struggling to settle back into work. We had a lovely time, weather was really good and the kids has a wonderful time. Now counting down until we head off again at the beginning of July.

When I got back there was a package that had arrived for me from Kerry with some lovely goodies and this lovely card.

Thanks again Kerry. I will post a card later this morning that I have done for Papertake Weekly Challenge with one of the Tildas that Kerry sent. Need to head off to work now.

Heading off to the sun

We are heading off to our place in Spain on Friday for a week. Hopefully the weather will be better than it has been here today - it has been like Winter.

Here is a picture of our little "Wendy House" in Spain.
We are taking our grandaughter Sophie and her twin 2 year old brothers Sandy and Robbie. Perhaps I will need a holiday when I get back!!

Thank-you Sarah Jane

This is a thank-you card for Sarah Jane, a docrafts gallery member who very kindly sent me some lovely bits and pieces for my cards. I will get it sent off on Monday. It is my first card with these Panduro stamps - I really like them.
Here is a picture of my dogs Benji and Jambo. I had mentioned them to Janet and also to Debs and said that I would upload a picture onto the blog. The other "little princess fairy" in the picture is my grand-daughter Sophie - I just love her to bits.

I have now managed to get these papers printed out in the colour they should have been. Really quite different from the ones I printed last weekend. I really liked the purple and blue ones, just a pity that I will probably never be able to get them that colour again.
I'm off to play with my new Panduro stamps which arrived on Friday. Just hoping that my OH will go and watch a football match this afternoon so that I can get some time to get a couple of cards made.
