Inspirational Card Sketches #23
Tuesday is here again so it is time for another fab sketch from Dawn at ICS.
Our amazing sponsor this week is Squiggle Stamps! Tracy has
sponsored us with this amazing prize package which you can check out Here
Meet Fishing Wallie the Walnut. Wallie is one of the new collection of boy stamps by Nutshells by Nutcrafters which is due to be launched on Monday 6th July. To celebrate the launch of these new stamps there will also be a "boys only" challenge on the Nutshells blog, so well worth checking it out on Monday.
I have used DP from Dovecraft and the sentiment is by CC Designs.
Sorry, no inside of this card as I have been at a Hen Party all weekend and am playing catch-up yet again.
I look forward to visiting your blogs to see your take on this wonderful sketch.
Have a great week.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Summer card
Our challenge this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar is to make a card with a summer theme.
We have a great prize this week which has been kindly donated by Regina Easter from The Cutting Cafe. The lucky winner can choose any 3 sets from the cafe site. If you have never visited The Cutting Cafe before please make sure you click on the link to pop on over and take a peep. Regina has some amazing downloads to purchase.
This is Beach Tash from Nutshells by Nutcrafters and she is just perfect for a summer card as she is all ready to head off to the beach. DP is by K&Co and the little flowers are from a pack from Accessorize. Ribbon and adhesive glitter dots from my stash.
It has been really hot here the past few days and I am really quite envious of Tash with her towel and bag ready to head for the beach. I have used this weeks sketch over at Sketch Saturday so will enter this card in this week's challenge.
Have a great week and I look forward to catching up with your summer cards.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - challenge 12 - sketch by Kim
We have a fabulous sketch by our own Kim to follow this week - thanks Kim this one was a pleasure to use. Check out the blog Here to see Kim's sketch and also the beautiful cards that the DT have made this week following the sketch.
I have used Gretel who is one of the new Swiss Pixies Downloaded images from CC Designs this week along with the lovely summery papers from Making Memories. Ribbon and flowers from stash.
I have also coloured in another of these cute pixies for the inside of the card, but infortunately have run out of time. I am in the middle of a really busy social spell and will be away all weekend to my soon to be daughter-in-law's hen party. We are heading off to Aviemore for the weekend for a bit of pampering, adventure activities (not me!!) and plenty to eat and drink I hope.
Have a great weekend.

Copics Colour Challenge #19
This week on CCC, the colour combo is BV00, G00 and RV02. It was my turn to pick the colours and I just love these 3 colours together, remember, you don't have to use all the colours and if you do not have the exact colours just use the nearest ones that you have - as long as you use copics we are happy.
This little cutie is called Hazel with Apples as is one of the stamps that I received in my DT pack from Nutshells by Nutcrafters and she is one of the summer range available at Nutcrafters now. Nutcrafters also have some blog candy up for grabs at the moment, so well worthwhile checking out their website. The papers are DCWV and flowers ane a mixture of prima and ones from Hobbycraft, ribbon from stash and Adhesive glitter dots are by Papermania. Not too sure that is shows well on the photo, but I have used glossy accents on the apples to make them shiney. The layout is this weeks sketch over at Friday Sketchers and I just loved this one and will certainly be using it again.
Have a good week and I look forward to seeing what you come up with using these favourite colours of mine.

Inspirational Card Sketches #22
Here we are, Tuesday again and another fab sketch from Dawn to follow over at ICS. I really enjoyed this one and I think this is the first card that I have ever made with a window in it.
We have a fabulous prize on offer the week from Lily-Boo Boutique and you can read all about this Here.
For my card this week I have used an image from one of the Lily-Boo Boutique collections and I just love these girls. I have also used one on the inside of the card (sorry, forgot to take a photo of the inside, will try to update this post later). These yummy papers are by Doodlebug and the flowers are from a pack that I bought in the US probably about 2 years ago, but I have never had papers to match them until now. The round sentimment showing through the window is a free one that came along with the latest Docrafts magazine and I love it.
Have a great week at I look forward to seeing what you do with this fabulous sketch this week.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Wedding Card
Our challenge this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar is to make a wedding card. We have some fabulous cards from the DT this week to inspire you. We also have a great prize this week from our own Nikki who has recently opened her own webshop. Nikki is offering a beautiful stamp to one lucky winner and you can read more about it on the blog Here. You can also see Nikki's shop Here and you will be delighted to see the wonderful range of stamps and other embelishments that Nikki has on offer.
I have used a Stampin Bella stamp this week for my card. The DP is by K&Co and I have used one of my Martha Stewart punches on one of the mats. I put some stickles on the bride's dress to give just a bit of sparkle and I have also used a glitter pen in her hair and around the bottom of the dress, the veil and also in the punched out dots in the punched border. Unfortunately, the glitter does not show up so well in the photo as it does in real life. The little blue flowers are from Confetti as are the little pearls. I have used the great sketch over at Sketch Saturday for this card so will be able to enter in the challenge over there this week.
Happy crafting and I will be back later today with my ICS card for Dawn's sketch this week.

Duda Daze Blog Hop - Believe
You should have arrived here from Sophie's Moonlight Inker blog and if not you can reach it Here.
As my little project with this fabulous new Duda Daze stamp I have made a card and a little notebook to match. I have used copics to colour the image and finished it off with some stickles on the wings and crowns. The DP is from a PaperMania pad which I think has to be my favourite pad at the moment. Flowers are by prima sugar coated brads by Doodlebug and the adhesive glitter dots by papermaina.
I have carried the same colour theme through to the inside of the card and stamped the image again, coloured in to match the one on the front and cut out both the girl and the cat seperately. Sorry, can't tell you who the Thinking of You stamp is by, it is a clear one that I picked up the US last year and unfortunately has no name on it.
This was a little 99p notebook that I picked up from Asda. I opened up the spiral and took both the covers off to cover them and then repunched the holes with the crop-o-dile. DP again is by Papermania and flowers to match the card.
The next person on the blog hop is Summer Loving Gal and you can check out her lovely creation Here
I am now off to work my way through the blog hop to see the beautiful things that all these creative people have show-cased and try to make up my mind which stamps I need first from this fabulous new collection from Sugar Nellie
Have a great weekend and thanks for taking the time to have a look at my blog.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Make a Scene
The challenge this week at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp is to make a card with a scene on it. The DT have come with some fabulous ideas for you this week so you will not be disappointed when you check them out and you can also read about the fabulous images that our own Chris and Sandra are offering as a prize this week.
I have used one of the GingerSnap download collections from CC designs to create my scene. I coloured in all the different pieces, cut them out and then glued them down to create this little scene. The sky was a happy accident and only came out all mottled like this as the copic that I wanted to use had nearly run out - I would probably never be able to recreate it like this. DP is from imaginsce and the sentiments from a CC Designs sentiments stamp set.
I do hope you manage to join us this week so that we can all get to see your lovely scenes.
I will be back later in the day, around about lunch-time, with my project for the Great Duda Daze Blog Hop to celebrate the launch of these adorable new stamps from Sugar Nellie.
Have a great weekend.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 56 - Sketch by Michelle O
For our challenge this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar we have a fabulous sketch by our very own Michelle O for you to follow, check it out Here where you can also see what the rest of the DT created this week with this great sketch - thanks Michelle.
I have used one of my favourite stamps this week, from the cats collection at Pink Cat Studio. DP is from K&Co sparkly sweet and flowers are by prima.
I have carried the same papers through to the inside and used another of these great images. Sentiments are by Pink Cat Studios and Stampin Up.
Summer appears to have returned to Inverness today and it is a beautiful day. I have just had a window box of beautiful flowers delivered to outside the window where I sit at work and hey are just beautiful. My office overlooks the Castle at Inverness and the view from here is just lovely - almost makes it a pleasure to be here at work. I really must bring the camera in and take a picture of the view from where I sit.
Have a great week

Nutshells Summer Theme Challenge
This little cutie's name is Coco and she's is one of the new Summer Nutshells collection that will be launched tomorrow from Nutcrafters. Wanna win some of these cute stamps? There's a challenge going on now over at the Nutshells blog. The theme is Summer and there is a sweet prize up for grabs. Pop on Over Here for all the details.
To go along with this summery Coco enjoying her ice-cream I have used these really bright and happy papers from the K&Co. Citrus range - they are just perfect for summer cards. The sentiment stamps are from CC Designs and the little flowers are from a sheet that I got at accessorize last year.
Inside of card
I have used the sketch from this weeks Sketch Something challenge and adapted it slightly to fit a square card.
I hope you get a chance to have a go at this challenge - Katie and Colette have said that if you do not have any Nutshells stamps at the moment that you can use any stamp as long as it fits the Summer theme, but this is your chance to get your hands on a couple of these little cuties for free.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge 11 - Chocolate and Orange
Good morning from Sunny Inverness and a card today for Dare U 2 Digi Stamp where this week the challenge is a colour theme of Chocolate and Orange. There's some great inspiration for these colours from the design team so I hope you can join us this week.
I have used a Pink Petticoat image this week (I had forgotten that I had these) and the papers are again from We R Memory Keepers and the colours were just perfect for this week's challenge. The papers and the image are both really busy so I have only added the Happy Birthday ticket, a piece of ribbon and a few gems. Was not too sure when I saw the colours for this week, but it was a really nice change from my usual pastel colours and definately a colour scheme I will use again.
Have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing your beautiful creations with this yummy colour scheme.

Copics Colour Challenge
Well, it's Wednesday again.... you know what that means! Yes, another Copic Colour Challenge.
This week, we are amazingly lucky to be sponsored by our very own Elaine! The prize on offer is a £10.00 gift voucher for Elaine's new online store - Quixotic Paperie. The voucher can be spent on anything in stock, and with lots of exciting products due to arrive soon, you'll have plenty of choice! If only us DT-ers could enter too.... ;o)
So what do you have to do to be in with a shot of winning this fab voucher?! Simply make a card (or another gorgeous creation!) using one, two or all of the colours below.
It doesn't matter if you haven't got the exact colours, just use your nearest shade. So long as you use Copics, we'll be happy!
I have used this Stamping Bella image that I have had in the cupboard for ages and ages. I had tried colouring it in a couple of times, but it is just so intricate that in the past I have given up with it. This time I managed to get it done reasonably well and I really pleased with it. My daughter Stephanie came to visit at the weekend and was busy crafing away all day on Sunday and I managed to aquire these papers from her stash - thanks Steph, not exactly sure what they are but I have a feeling that they are a papermania pad. Flowers are by prima and the sentiment was cut out from one of these papers that I acquired.
I have carried the same colours through in the inside and again all the bits and pieces were cut out from the sheet of paper except for the Thanks stamp which is a clear one that I picked up in the States last year.
Pop on over to the Challenge blog to see what the DT have come up with this week and I look forward to seeing your creations this week.

Inspirational Card Sketches #20
Sorry to be so late in posting my card for this week's challenge at ICS. I have been away with work for the past 2 days and thought I would be home long before now, but I have just got in the door and need to write up some notes from the last couple of days before heading off to bed! Here is this week's fabulous sketch from Dawn. This is a great sketch and I will certainly be using it again. Please check out the blog Here to read all about this week's challenge and to see what the rest of the wonderful DT have created this week.
For my card this week I have used a couple of download images that this week's sponsor - Whimsy Doodles gave to all the DT to use. I just love this little turtle - soo cute. Sorry, can't remember who the DPs are by - I will check this out later and update the post. Downloaded sentiments came along with the images and flowers are by papermania.
Inside of card
I hope you have as much fun with this sketch as I did.
