Some Friends!
Sorry, no cards to post today, but I thought I would share a couple of photos with you that I took while off on my travels with work last week.
On the way to Skye I visited a really pretty little village called Plockton and while travelling to Kyle of Lochalsh after leaving Plockton I came across these cute little fellas just by the side of the road right in the middle of a bunch of houses. They were really friendly and did not seem in any way bothered by the cars going past. They were not fenced in at all and a couple of them were just wanrering about on the road. Seems like they live there all the time.
Aren't they just soo cute?
Back with my Spoon Full of Sugar challenge card on Tuesday morning.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Challenge 4 - things with wings
Sorry to be so late with this post, but I am away with work and this is the first chance I have had all day to get on the internet. It is our 4th Challenge at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and this week the theme is 'Things with wings' which could be a winged character on your digi image, things with wings in the pattern of your paper, a charm, etc. Check out the blog to see the wonderful ideas that the rest of the st have come up with.
Here is my card
I used this fun image from Dustin Pike. The papers are all sample papers from Stampin Up that I got from Tracy Dowie who runs the Stampin Up club that I belong to - thanks Tracy. I have just noticed that the flowers and the dragonfly also came from Tracy - so double thanks Tracy. The sentiment is from High Hopes.
I am on Skye at the moment with work and it has been pouring rain all day, I have just phoned home and apparently it has been another good day there - seems like it has been good everywhere apart from here! Perhaps tomorrow will be better - fingers crossed. I do hope so as it is really beautiful here and I wanted to get some nice photos to show you.
There were some fabulous card from last week's challenge and I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with this week.

Inspirational Card Sketches #13
It is Tuesday and time for another great sketch from Dawn at Inspirational Card Sketches. I found this one really challenging, but hey that is what challenges is all about ahd I know you will love it. This week's challenge has been sponsored by Dustin Pike and if you pop on over the the ICS blog you will get his contact details to check out his fab images.
For my card this week I have broken away from my usual pinks and pastels as I thought that this cheeky little fairy which incidently is one of Dustin's, needed something really colourful and bold. The papers are from a pack from Kaiser Craft and the sentiments are from a set of stickers that I have had for ages that came in a scrapbook pack and I think they may be by Doodlebug and they are just perfect for this little lady. Flowers are prima and the white flower brad with the jewel on it is doodlebug.

Have a great week and I hope you have fun with this sketch.

I have used one of the new set of Gorjuss girls from Sugar Nellie, DP are from the Garden Vellum pack from the Kaiser range and the flowers on the front and inside the card have been cut out of one the sheets in this pack. Swirls are cut with a quickutz revolution die and sentiments on the front are from Claire Curd's signature range.

This may be the last card for a wee while that I will have time to finish both inside and out as I am off on holiday on 2nd May and will be doing my best to make sure that I have cards ready for the Design Teams that I am on during my time away.
Things will be back to normal when I return on 9th May.
I am off to the Isle of Skye on Thursday with work for a couple of days so I am hoping that the weather will be good so that I can take some nice photos. I was there a couple of weeks ago and the weather was really miserable so the photos that I had hoped to take and post on here did not happen. Better luck this time!
Have a great week.

Inspirational Card Sketches #12
Here is this week's fabulous sketch from Dawn at ICS and I am sure that you will enjoy this one as much as I did.
Yet again Dawn has come up trumps with a great prize this week. Scrapbook Dreamer is our sponsor and Laura the owner has generously offered the winner of this week sketch a nice gift certificate of the amount of $15.00 and Laura will ship anywhere.
I have used the sketch this week to cover an address book for my daughter as an Easter gift. Steph is forever on the phone to me looking for addresses for Christmas cards, birthday cards etc. so I decided that this would be useful for her and I have filled it with all the addresses that I she may need.
Back of Book
Don't forget you can turn, flip or whatever with the sketch to make it fit
your style and I look forward to seeing what you all come up with.

For my project this week I have covered a Photo Album which came in it's own box. I have used a couple of these beautiful new Eline Pellinkhof images. These stamps are not available in the UK at the moment but my DT buddy over at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Larissa very kindly sent me a few images - thanks so much Larissa. I have used nestabilities to cut the mats and the swirl is a quickutz revolution die, wording cut with my cricut.

Inspirational Card Sketches #11
It is Tuesday and time for another sketch by the wonderful Dawn at ICS and as you can see here it is another great one.
This week, we are very delighted that Leslie from Treasured Scrapbooking is sponsoring us. Treasured Scrapbooking is a monthly Kit Club based on the East Coast of USA. You really need to check out the blog to see what Leslie is offering as a prize this week - seriously worth winning.
This card differs slightly from the my DT one that appears on the ICS challenge blog. I had sent the photo of the front of the card to Dawn on Monday morning and when I then went to finish off the inside of the card on Monday night I had a slight coffee accident - the whole card was ruined, hence the new front. The design layout is the same as the original but I did not have any of the same image left and I also had to substitute some of the DP. I must admit that I probably prefer this one to the original.
I have used DP by Flair Designs called Baby Girl - a pack of 8x8 papers. All the baby elements on the card are from Panduro and the sentiment inside is Stampin Up.

I do hope you are able to join us this week and I look forward to checking out your blogs to see your creations with Dawns's sketch.

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 46 - How Old?
For our Challenge this week on A Spoon Full of Sugar we would like to see you create a card with the persons age on it. There is a great prize of a whole bunch of beautiful buttons from Silly Monkey Crafts for one lucky person to win.
For my card this week I have used this fun image from Pollycraft Designs. I have used doodlebug rub-ons to to say 8 today and the Party on sentiment is also a rub-on.
DP are from K&Co and the sentiment on the inside is from Clare Curds Signature Range sentiments set. For the images inside the card I have used another Pollycraft stamp and masked off the areas that I did not want as both these images belong to the same stamp and the little girl us usually sitting under the flower.
Have a great week and I look forward to seeing all your Age cards as the week goes on.
