Copics Colour Challenge #37
Here we are half way through the week again and time for another Copics Colour Challenge and what a treat we have in store for you this week! Our sponsor this week is none other than Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. To read all about the fabulous prize that Kimmie has put up for this week's challenge please read Here and at the same time have a look at the beautiful cards that the rest of the DT have created with this weeks colours. Remember you don't have to have the exact colours, just use the nearest in colour that you have, as long as you use copics that will be fine by us and of course you can combine these colours with some others.
This little image is from Digistamp boutique and doesn't she look so warm and cosy in her winter coat. The papers and sentiment are all by My Minds Eye and the snowflakes from a sticker sheet. The sketch is the one at Mojo Monday
I am scheduling this post to appear around lunch-time as I just about to head off to Aviemore for a conference today. It is a gorgeous day here so it should be a lovely drive up through Speyside as the colours of the autumn trees here at the moment is just spectacular.
Have fun with this week's colours.

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 75 - Kitchen/Cooking
Time for another challenge from A Spoon Full of Sugar and this week we are looking for you to make a card or project with the theme of Kitchen/Cooking. Our sponsor this week is Nikki of Bunny Zoe's Crafts and this week's lucky winner will receive a Colorful Christmas Paper Kit by My Minds Eye.
The DT have come up with the most fabulous examples for you to feast you eyes on this week and you can see them all Here
I have made a little treat bag which is full of gingerbread cookies for my project this week and it matches the Christmas card and gift card with the gingerbread cookies on that I made a few weeks ago. These cute gingerbread stamps are from Peachy Keen and the cookie sentiment is by CC Designs, papers are by Heidi Grace, ribbons, brads etc. from my stash. The paper bag was not keen to stand up up its own, so I have made a little box to attach to the bottom of the paper bag and a topper to match.
This little treat bag also fits the bill over at Saturday Spotlight this week and I will enter it there.
Here is a photo of the treat bag together with the Christmas card and gift card.
Have a good day.

Milly singing Carols
Just a quick post with this card that I have made using the really cute Milly singing Carols from Digistamp boutique. You may remember that I used a smaller version of this cute image on one of my tags last week. I had also printed out this larger version at the same time and it has been sitting on my desk since then and was begging to be put on a card - so here she is. Papers are my My Minds Eye and the snowflakes were punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
I had a lovely day out yesterday with my crafy pals Kate and Jean at the SECC in Glasgow at the Hobbycrafts show. We left really early (6.30am!!) so that we could get there at a reasonable time and we got home around 8.30pm last night - long day, but a great day out - thanks for the wonderful company girls and also thanks to Jean's husband who so kindly got up at some unearthly hour to make sandwiches for us.
Now just need to find somewhere to put the new stash that I bought which is still sitting in a bag in the middle of the lounge floor.

Dutch Dare Card Challenge - Hey Dude!
This is my entry for Dutch Dare Card Challenge which this week is a great sketch to follow. Meet Ben with his skateboard. This cute little stamp is called "Hey Dude!" and is available from Squiggle Stamps Here. He is a great stamps to colour and just perfect for little boy birthday cards. The papers are from a K&Co 6x6 pad and the cool letters I have had in my stash for ages, they orignally came with an 8x8 scrap-page set that I bought when on holiday in Boston.
Well is a horrible day here, dull and really windy and offering to rain. I have been into town this morning, but am now back in the warmth and am looking forward to an afternoon of crafting - by husband is heading off to a football match - so peace and crafting - what more can a girl ask for!!!

DU2DS challenge#24 - no squares allowed - shaped card
Our challenge at DU2DS this week is "no squares allowed" - you need to make a shaped card or other project. This gave me the chance to get on and make some tags for Christmas gifts and here I have attached one to a small bottle of Port for an adult gift and the other one to a gift bag full of sweet treats for a child.
I have used Bo Bunny papers and layerd up 6 circles cut with nestabilities (3 on the from and 3 on the back and before glueing them altogether I cut 2 small ovals which I also glued together and stuck between the back and fron large circles to create a tab for threading the ribbon through (I needed to do this as the image was fairly large and there was nowhere to puch the hole at the top of the circle). Because of all the layers and the glue when the whole thing has dried it is really sturdy and almost has a leather-like quality to it. I think these could even be hung on the tree as ornaments. Both images are from Digi Stamp Boutique - I have a few more of these fab images and they will be made into tags over the next few weeks.
This is a picture of the back of the tags. I had almost forgotten that I had this stamp and it is so ideal for the back of tags.
Have a great weekend.
I will be back with another Squiggles Stamps card tomorrow featuring one of the new boy stamps.

Nutty Nutshells Challenge #2
For this week's Nutty Nutshells challenge, you need to go out and find yourself a sketch challenge that is currently running (Sketch Saturday, Friday Sketchers, MoJo Monday, etc) and make a card using that sketch and ANY line of stamps that is in the Nutcrafter's store!!! That makes it nice and easy for everyone to participate!! So go over to Nutcrafter's and see the selection of stamps from lots of different companies such as The Greeting Farm, Stampavie, Magnolia, Ladybug & Friends, High Hopes, Buddy Bear and Sarah Kay. You can also get out Nutshells, Harriet Hurst and our Digi Image Pink Frosting - our Breast Cancer Awareness set which is the set that I have used and I'm sure that you have something in your stash that you can use and you can order something new for next time!!
The image that I have used is from the Pink Frosting digi set which is available Here, the DP is from Sandy Lion Girl Paper Pad which I am just in love with at the moment and I still have quite a few of these papers that I have not even cut into yet. The butterfly if cut from one of the sheets of DP and layered over a bigger one on the mat. Flower is cut from a stem that I picked up at the local garden centre. Oh I nearly forgot nto tell you which sketch I had followed - it is the one on Sunday Sketch and Stamp
We had a great response to the first challenge and I do hope that you will manage to join in with the second one. I look forward to seeing your creations again.

Copics Colour Challenge #36
This week we have another fabulous sponsor for you InStyle Stamps! and they are offering one lucky winner 2 glitter pens, a Memento ink pad (in Tuxedo Black) and 2 stamps from InStyle!
The colours were chosen this week by Adele and as always, if you don't have these exact colours, just pick something close and we will be happy. As long as you have used Copics of course! Pop on over to the blog Here to perhaps get some inspiration from what the DT have created with these colours.
The DT were all given the chance to pick an image from In Style to work with this week and I have picked the adorable Rainy Cynthia fairy. I was a bit concerned that she may not fit well with the colours this week, but I am really happy with how she turned out and it gave me an excuse to use these lovely prima flowers that I have had for ages but not had the right colour scheme to go with them. The DP is from a Sandy Lion 12" collection pad and the sentiments are from a CC designs set. The sketch that I have used is first challenge over at The Pixie Cottage blog.
I do hope that you get a chance to look at the fabulous stamps and digi images that In Style have and I also look forward to seeing what you create using these colours.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Sketch 74 - Sketch by Debbie
The DT at ASOS have been working with the cute little digi images from our lovely sponsor this week – Soft Pencil. The image that I chose is the really cute Michu, his friend and a paper boat. Our challenge is a fabulous sketch created by our gorgeous Debbie and what a great little sketch this is - thanks Debbie.
Check out the blog Here for tons of inspiration.
I have chosen to make a mini card this week and it could be used either as a gift card with a present or as a card on its own. The papers are by papermania and the lovely flowers and leaves are by Martha Stewart - a little fiddly to fix to the card as they are vellum and the first glue that I used was far to heavy for them. I have used a general sentiment so that this card could be used for all kinds of occasions.
I hope you all enjoy working with this sketch which I think you will find is ideal for all sorts of cards.
Have a great week.

Here is my card with Dawns sketch #38 over at ICS and as always Dawn has created another fab sketch to follow.

This a quick post as I have just got back from a Bo Bunny demo day at Simply Create at Alford and am now just about to jump into the shower before heading off out with friends to the Indian.

Sketch Saturday Snowman
Just a quick post this morning as I am just about to head off to a conference and will be there for most of the day.
Here is my card that I have made with the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. This one was inspired by the beautiful card the my friend Judy made as my Guest DT member over at A Spoon Full of Sugar this week. I featured this card on my blog on Tuesday and I just love what she did with it. I don't have the Mo Manning image that she used (but I will need to get it!) so I used this cute little snowman and then maksed him to also stamp the tree. Sorry I can't tell you who this cute little set is by, they came in a CD type box which was a bit broken so I threw it out and so don't have the name (I will find out and post this later). DP is by My Minds Eye and the snowflakes a combination of Martha Stewart punch and cuttlebug die.
I am heading off for the day tomorrow to Simply Create in Alford with Tracy from Squiggle Stamps as she is having a Bo Bunny demo day there. I have wanted to get over to Jacqui's shop for ages and am really excited about my day out. Will let you know all about it on Sunday.

KLM Designs - Breast Cancer Awareness Month Digi Stamp
As you are probably all aware, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and over at KLM Digital Designs the lovely Kathryn has released this beautiful image which her super talented mum has created especially for this wonderful cause. All proceeds from the sale of this digi stamp will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation - what a great cause.
Here is my card made using this fabulous image, coloured with copics and the DP is by K&Co, flowers by Prima.
I think all of us know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease, my good school friend Claire died from breast cancer some 4 years ago, aged 44 and left behind a wonderful husband and two lovely girls aged 4 and 11 months, I think of her all the time and these beautiful girls (I have tears in my eyes just writing this!!)
* Please note all proceeds from the sale of this image will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.*
Have a lovely day.

We have a real treat for you this week at Copics Colour Challenge as we are sponsored by Whiff of Joy stamps! The lovely people at Whiff of Joy have kindly offered us 'Henry Ice Skating' to give away to one lucky winner. So, make sure you get your entries in this week to be in with a shot at this great prize!
It was my turn to pick the colours this week and I have gone for three colours which I think are perfect for christmas! As always, if you don't have the exact colours below, please just pick your nearest.
Here is my card and I have features the brand new Snow Pals stamp which is now available at Squiggle Stamps, this is a great little stamps and because the boy and snowman are not joined together they could both be used on their own, giving you double value. The papers are by Bo Bunny and I cut the snowflakes out with a Martha Stewart punch and then covered them in crystal glitter.
We also say hello to two more guest designers this week - Georgina and Lilian. These ladies have produced simply stunning creations and we are so happy to have them on our team! So pop on over to the blog Here to see Georgina and Lilian's gorgeous cards and also the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team.
Hope you all enjoy these colours.

I have used Holly the Christmas Fairy and I am so glad that this week's sketch was a really simple one as I did not want to clutter this beautiful image. The DP is by Heidi Grace and I have used Copics to colour her in.
It was my turn to pick a Guest DT member this week and I was over the moon when Judy agreed to be my guest.
Here is Judy beautiful card which features another of Mo's gorgeous images. If you have never been to check out Judy's blog you will be in for a great treat when you check it out Here.

The Trick or Treat sentiment is from the same Penny Black set.
We are off visiting family in Aberdeen tomorrow, but I will be back on Tuesday with my Spoon Full of Sugar card.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - challenge 24 - colour challenge - Yellow, Orange and Black or White
As it's getting close to Halloween we think the challenge this week at DareU2DigiStamp might bring out some of your spooky creations. We hope you'll join us again and we're looking forward to visiting you.
We'll have a prize again for this challenge of two single image digi's from Sketching Stamper and two from Sandra Dry Digital Designs, the winner will be announced on the next challenge, 23rd October.
I seem to have had a week of making Halloween cards and I am so loving using these colours. This image is one of the new digi stamps that are now available from Pink Cat Studio and the papers are all Heidi Grace except for the black one with the spots on and I am afraid that I must already have used the bit with the name on it so I am sorry that I cannot say who it is by. The sentimnets and spider webs are all from a penny black set of clear stamps and I have almost used up all these spiders now - only 1 solitary spider left and I will try to give him a home this evening. The sketch that I have used for this card is the one over at Sketch Saturday this week and I really enjoyed this one.
As well as a card I have made a front cover for a Halloween chocolate lollipop that I bought from the supermarket. This was a really quick and easy project and I think I will probably do some more of these for Halloween night for the neighbours kids and also I have a feeling that there may be more of these come Christmas time.
Have a great weekend, and I look forward to seeing your spooky (or not) creations.

Copics Colour Challenge 34 using ICS Sketch #37
Sorry to be so late with this post, but I have just got back home after a couple of days away with work. Here are the colours for this week's Copics Colour Challenge and I am sure that you will agree that these colours are just perfect for getting another one of your Christmas cards out of the way.
You can see the fabulous cards that the DT and Guest Designers have created this week and hopefully give you some inspiration for using these lovely colours Here
I have used one of the wonderful new Hariett Hurst Christmas stamps which are a new range for Nutcrafters and you can see them all Here. The colours this week were just perfect with this stamp and also these beautiful papers from My Minds Eye. The Snowflakes also came with the MME pack as did the sentiment. Oh and I so nearly forgot to say that I have used Dawns sketch this week over at ICS. I am no longer on the DT there, so that means that I can now enter the challenges - thanks for another fab sketch Dawn.
You still have a couple of days to enter my Squiggles Stamps Blog Candy as seen at the top of the page and good luck to all that have already entered.
I aill be back on Friday with my card for Dare U 2 Digi Stamp.
