Copics Colour Challenge 33 using Friday Sketchers sketch

Here are the colours this week at Copics Colour Challenge.
Remember, if you do not have the exact colours we've listed below, please just use something that looks close. Also, if you don't fancy making a card, you could do a scrapbook page, alter an item or make something from scratch. As long as there are Copics used somewhere.

On my card this week I have used Daisy with present from Squiggle Stamps and Daisy is available Here along with all her friends. The DP came free with a magazine - creative cards I think and I have also cut the butterflies and the flower from the same set of papers. The sentiment is by Stampin Up. I have used the sketch this week on Friday Sketchers which was a great one and I think could be used for all sorts of cards.

We have some fabulous cards from our Guest DT members this week to show you and you can check them out Here, I am sure that they will certainly inspire you.

I will be back later in the week with some yummy candy from Squiggle Stamps, so do pop back.

My Last DT card with ICS

Well, this is a sad post for me because after 8 months this is mu last post as a DT member with ICS. I have been there since the blog started and Dawn asked me to stay on after my initial 4 month stint, but now is the time for new people to take over the and I am so happy for them, but I will miss Dawn and her Tuesday sketches. I will however now be able to take part in the challenge weekly and will certainly be keeping an eye on the fabulous inspiration that we all take from these sketches.

We were sponsored by Lindsay's Stamp Stuff this week and Lindsay is offering 10 of her fabulous digi stamps to the lucky winner this week and all the DT got to pick one of these to work with this week, you can read all about this Here. The DP I have used is by Paper Artsy and the sentiment from Pink Petticoat.

I hope you enjoy this sketch this week and don't forget to pop back later in the week when I will be posting my DT Blog Candy from Squiggle Stamps

I will finish off here by wishing Dawn and the DT over at ICS all the very best for the future - I will miss you.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 71 - Christmas

At A Spoon Full of Sugar this week we thought we would get you all in the mood to get those Christmas cards started.
Our Wonderful sponsor this week is Summer, owner of Belle's 'n Whistles. Summer is kindly giving the lucky winner two cute stamps - Little Witch and Scarecrow and Little Wizard. These two beautiful stamps are from her latest collection and you can read all about this fabulous prize and perhaps get some inspiration from the DT with those Christmas Cards Here

This week I have used the adorable Christmas Elves set from Squiggle Stamps. There are four stamps included in this fantastic set, two elves, parcels and the Merry Christmas sentiment that I have used in the inside of the card and also on the back of the gift bag.
The DP is all by Bo Bunny and Tracy at Squiggle stamps also has a mini set of these papers and some embelishments which would be ideal to make these Christmas projects, you can see this mini set Here
As usual I have used copics to colour my images and lots of stickles just to get into the Christmas spirit.

Inside of card

I have used the same papers on the inside of the card just to carry the theme through.

Front of Gift Bag

This little sweets gift bag compliments the card and I have used the same papers again. The bag top is made using various Nestabilities and the bags are from Stampin Up.

Back of Gift Bag

I hope you all have fun this week with this Christmas theme and no doubt you will be walking around with bits of glitter on you face - as has already been pointed out to me this morning at work.

I will be back later in the week with some scrummy blog candy kindly donated to me by Tracy at Squiggle Stamps so watch this spot.

Copics Colour Challenge - # 32

This weeks combo at Copics Colour Challenge is really fresh and funky. This is the first week on the DT for our new girls Beth and Patricia so please give them a big welcome and check out their fabulous cards Here .

On my card today I wanted to give you a peek of a very special stamp set that will be coming out in October. As many of you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness in the UK and the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the US.
Katie and Colette over at Nutshells have been working hard to create a digi stamp set for October. The new digi stamp set is called Pink Frosting and features a new nut called Pecan Nut.
If that wasn't enough to get you excited how about this......Nutshells will be donating 50% of each set sold to support Breast Cancer Awareness.
Make sure and check out the Nutshell blog Here for more information about this digi stamp set.

The DP I have used is by Doodlebug and the flowers were also punched from the same range of DP.

I hope you all have fun with this lovely colour combo and I will be back later in the week with another card featuring these Breast Cancer awareness cuties.

Inspirational Card Sketches #35

I have only just realised that I never got round to finishing my post yesterday with my card for ICS and I really am pleased with this card which features a couple of the fabulous images from Mo Manning. The DP is from a Forever Friends pad and the sentiments from ElzyBells.

We got back from Orkney late on Sunday night after being there for the weekend for the Wedding reception following on from the Wedding in New York last month. We had a fabulous time in Kirkwall and of course ate and drank far too much. That now completes all our galavanting until we head back over to Spain for Christmas, so I should now have some time for some serious crafting and getting started on my Christmas cards. It will also mean that I will have some time to get around the blogs to catch up on what everyone has been up to.

Have fun with Dawn's sketch which you can check out Here along with seeing what the DT have come up with using the sketch.

Have a great week.

Well, here I am back to reality and back to work again after my lovely holiday in the sun. The time has passed so quickly since we got home on Sunday night and I have had to combine 2 challenges this week in order to get my DT work done. The challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar this week is to make a Fall/Autumn project and I have used the fab sketch from Dawn over at ICS this week.

This cute Autumn Daisy with toadstools is one of the new batch of stamps which are now available at Squiggle Stamps These are really worth checking out and there is also a Witch, a lovely Daisy with a snowflake and a couple of Oscar cuties which will be perfect for little boy cards.

I have coloured Daisy in with a combination of Copics and Promarkers, the DP is by Cosmo Cricket and the flower by Prima.
