A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 86 - Recipie

This week over at A Spoon Full of Sugar it was my turn to set the challenge and I have chosen a recipie for you - 3 Pieces of DP, 1 Piece of Ribbon, 3 flowers and 3 buttons. It was also my turn to pick a Guest DT member and the super-talented Simonne has created a gorgeous card for us this week - thanks Simonne. You can check out what the rest of the team have come up with and also this week's prize Here

I have had this Anya set for some time now, but what with Christmas I had never got round to inking this one up - I do so love these Anyas. The papers are by My Minds Eye and the flowers are by prima, buttons and pearls from Bunny Zoes Crafts.

Well it looks like our snow may finally start to thaw a bit today, although I think there may be more forcast for tomorrow.

The trains here are still not running properly and I have come into work on the bus today - it takes around 80 minutes compared to the 40 minutes on the train so I hope that all is sorted out on the railway soon.

Have a great week.

Anyone for Anya? -Anything Goes and Allsorts challenge - purple

I still have quite a few cards to get finished for orders this week and I am now trying to do the ones that take the least amount of time. This Anya one fits the bill as it was a nice and easy quick one, with not too much to colour on it. Papers are by Craft House and snowflakes cut with Martha Stewart punches.

The challenge this week at Anyone for Anya is anything goes which is great for getting caught up with all sorts of things.

This card also fits well with the challenge at Allsorts Challenge where they are looking for you to have purple somewhere on your card.

I just can't believe how quickly the time is going and I really think that I don't have time to work as well!!

Have a great week.

Copics Colour Challenge 28

Here we are, Wednesday again and time for another challenge from Copics Colour Challenge.

This week, we are sponsored once again by one of our favourites - The Craft Barn and the winner of this weeks challenge will receive a super-dooper £15 voucher to spend at their leisure.
What do you have to do to win? Simply create something using the the Copic colour combo below. It could be a card, a scrapbook page or anything else that takes your fancy, but you MUST use your lovely Copic markers. Please please please remember that you do not have to have exactly the right colours in order to take part, just use the nearest ones you have.

I have used one of the Anyas from my new set this week and I think these colours were just perfect for her. The DP is by Me and My Big Ideas as are the sentiments and frame on this card, flowers and brads from my stash.

I have used the same range of papers on the inside of the card and these embelishments are also from the same set - I do like things to match!!

Same range of papers on the back of the card just to finish it off.

I do hope that you get some time to join us with this challenge this week as I know that you certainly will enjoy using these colours. Check out the blog Here to read all about this weeks prize and also to see what the DT have created and also the gorgeous cards that our Guest Designers have created this week.

ICS Sketch #26 & Cute Card Thursday Xmas in July

Tuesday again already and time for another sketch from Dawn at Inspirational Card Sketches and another fab one to follow.
This week our sponsor Bunny Zoe's Crafts owner Nikki is giving away a fabulous prize to one lucky winner using ICSketches #26, a set of 7 Christmas Charms and Ollyfant Winter Skates Clear Stamp Set. What a nice prize to receive and you only have to create some kind of project using the sketch below. So lets see what you can do with it.

The challenge at Cute Card Thursday this week is Xmas in July so I have taken this opportunity to get another of my Christmas cards done and for this one I have used Snow Anya from the 2nd set from the Greeting Farm, the papers are by Craft House, glitter card by Doodlebug and the brad and ribbon from my stash.

Have a great crafting week and I look forward to seeing your creations with this great sketch.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Butterflies

We have another great challenge for you this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar and this week we would like to see butterflies somewhere on your card. Pop on over to the blog Here to check out this week's prize and also the beautiful butterfly cards from the rest of the DT.
For my card this week I have used one of the Miss Anya stamps from the first set. The DPs are by K& Co and the butterfly is one that came on a pack that was free with a card magazine months ago, I think it is by papermania. The sentiment is from Claire Curds signature range of clear sentiment stamps and is cut out with nestabilities

I have carried through the theme of butterflies to the inside of the card. I have cut these butterflies from a sheet of K& CO DP and glued them onto the page.

I am in Edinburgh for a couple of days at meetings and will not be back home until late on Tuesday night but will catch up with your creations on Wednesday. I am staying in the most wonderful Guest House just around the corner from Murrayfield Stadium and am being really well looked after. I even had a welcome tray in my room with sherry and roses chocolates - how lovely it is to be spoiled.
I will be back later in the day with my DT card for ICS.

Inspirational Card Sketches - # 18

Dawn has come up with yet another great skecth for us to work with this week. Don't you just love sketches?
Check out the blog Here to get some inspiration from the fabulous cards that the rest of the DT have made and also to see the great prize is on offer this week from Paper Popsicles.

For my card this week I have used one of the fantastic new Anya Girls from The Greeting Farm and what a joy they are to colour in. DP is by making memories and the sentiment from High Hopes, rest of the bits and pieces are from my stash.
We are supposed to get a really good summer this year, so these papers are in anticipation of the hot, sunny weather.

Have a happy crafting week.

A Spoonfull of Sugar Torn Edges

The challenge over on A Spoonfull of Sugar this week is to make a card with torn edges on it.
Front of card

I have chosed one of the Miss Anya stamps for this card as they are my favourite stamps at the moment (along with the Gorjuss girls - I will have a post with these later in the day!). The papers that I have used are from a set of 12 by Dena for Creative Imaginatons. I just love them as they remind me of spring and I really had to force my self to cut and tear into them. Flowers are by prima and ribbon, lace and other embelishments from my stash. This is the first time that I have ever made a card with torn paper on it - I like everything to be just so!, but I was really surprised at how much I like the torn effect. I have only torn the two strips of pink and white paper across the card and have put the ribbon and lace on top of these pieces. I have coloured Miss Anya with copics.

Good luck with the challenge this week and have a great day.

Miss Anya fits 2 challenges

My new Miss Anya stamps from The Greeting Farm arrived earlier this week and I think these have to be my all time favourite stamps - I just love them. I have used two of them on this card which I am entering into 2 challenges this week. The first is a new one that I have come across on The Greeting Farm blog called The Case of the Curious Card and this week there is a lovely card by Kristine to case. Check out the blog to see how to enter. The second challenge is over on Roses on Paper and the challege here is love and frienship and this card I think would be a great card to give to a friend.
