Whiff of Joy Challenge #5

This weeks challenge is a fabulous sketch by Heather. I have used Melinda blowing kisses and the sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy. I hve loved using this sketch so much that I decided to make a second card this time using Melinda holding heart. DPs are Basic Grey Euphoria and this is the first time I have used this pad and I am so impressed by these. The scalloped bit was done with one of the new cuttlebug embossing edges and I have cut the excess bits away. Flowers by Prima as usual.

Dutch Dare Card Challenges #8

This weeks challenge is a sketch by Korin from Sweet'n Sassy Stamps. Sketches are my favourite kind of challenge and this was a great one. I haven't made a card that is not square for such a long time and it made a nice change. The papers and flowers were a download from Fred She Said Store. Image is Magnolia and the sentiment was done using one of the new Cuttlebug border folders.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 16

The challenge this week over on Cute Card Thursday was to make a card with no patterned paper. This was certainly a challenge to me as I just love patterned paper. However I am really pleased with how this card turned out and think I will probably make some more. I enbossed a square of slightly pearlised card with one of my cuttlebug embossing folders and matted it onto pink and then onto green. The stamp is from Panduro and the sentiment Studio G. The flowers as ever are Prima.

Dutch Dare Challenge

This is a new Challenge that is now up and running. The first week's challenge is to create a card using pink - lots of pink and here is my interpretaion of that.
I have used Daisybucket papers, cuttlebug embossing folder, Prima flowers and image by Hanglar.

Happy Birthday Linsey

It is my sister Linsey's birthday today and this is the card that I have sent to her. She had a terrible cold when I spoke to her on the phone yesterday so I do hope that she is feeling a bit better today. Happy Birthday little sis.

My Paperworld Challenge - Sketch 9

This is my card using Sketch No 9 on this weeks My Paperworld Challenge. Take a look at the blog and see the great cards there. (I have a link to this blog on My Challenge Blogs). I used cuddly buddly backing papers, a panduro stamp and prima flowers, other bits and pieces from my stash. This is a really good layout and I will definately use it again.
