Pixie Dust Challenge #67 - Let's go to the movies

Our challenge this week at Pixie Dust Challenge this week is "let's go to the movies" and you can read all about it Here as well as taking a peek at the gorgeous cards and projects from the DT this week.

I have chosen the film Cinderella and I have used the gorgeous Cinderella image from the Pixie Parade collection and teamed her up with some lovely Princess papers from Imaginsce and a couple of Princess inspired brads that I had in my stash. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. The sketch that I have followed is the one this week at MoJo Monday I am also entering this card at Colour Create Challenge this week where the theme is pastels.

I hope that you find some time to play along with us this week.

We have a great new challenge this week for you at A Spoon Full of Sugar which was chosen by Ingrid and she is looking for tags so either a tag or a card that includes a tag - as long as there is a tag there somewhere we will be happy.

We have Bunny Zoes Crafts sponsoring us this week again - thank you Nikki and you can read all about the prize and also take a peek at the gorgeous creations from the DT this week Here .

I have gone with the option of making a tag this week and I have used a couple of cute stamps from CC Designs along with these gorgeous Imaginsce papers and a few prima flowers.

I have carried the same theme through on the back of the tag here.

I hope you have fun with this one.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Anything Goes - Challenge 122

I have managed to combine 3 challenges with this card. At A Spoon Full of Sugar this week the theme is "anything goes" so we are looking forward to lots of variety in the entries this week. I have chosen to use an old Whiff of Joy stamp this week - I had forgotten how much I loved this one when it came out. I am entering it at Whiff of Joy challenge this week where they are looking for lots of layers on your cards and the sketch that I have followed is the current one at Friday Sketchers. This was a great sketch which I really enjoyed and I will certainly be using this one again.

The papers are all from Imaginsce Cottage Christmas pad and I have only added a small bit of ribbon and a papermania sentiment, and 3 little gems as I thought that the card was busy enough with all the layers of paper and felt that anymore embelishments would just clutter it completely.

Please do pop on over to the A Spoon Full of Sugar blog Here to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and also to read all about the sponor and prize on offer this week.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Make a Scene

The challenge this week at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp is to make a card with a scene on it. The DT have come with some fabulous ideas for you this week so you will not be disappointed when you check them out and you can also read about the fabulous images that our own Chris and Sandra are offering as a prize this week.

I have used one of the GingerSnap download collections from CC designs to create my scene. I coloured in all the different pieces, cut them out and then glued them down to create this little scene. The sky was a happy accident and only came out all mottled like this as the copic that I wanted to use had nearly run out - I would probably never be able to recreate it like this. DP is from imaginsce and the sentiments from a CC Designs sentiments stamp set.
I do hope you manage to join us this week so that we can all get to see your lovely scenes.

I will be back later in the day, around about lunch-time, with my project for the Great Duda Daze Blog Hop to celebrate the launch of these adorable new stamps from Sugar Nellie.

Have a great weekend.

Copics Colour Challenge 14 and DT announcement

I have been so busy since I got back from holiday that I forgot to tell you that I had an email from Shell over at Copics Colour Challenge asking me if I would join their DT. As you all know, I love my Copics, so this certainly was not a difficult decision for me and I was delighted to accept.
This week is my first week as a DT member with them and here are the colours that we are all challenged to use this week. The colours are given as a guide and if you do not have the exact ones then you can use the ones that you have that are nearest to the colours given. I have used R29 Lipstick Red, B12 Ice Blue and Y06 Yellow.

I have used Imaginsce papers on my card both on the front and inside. The images are from the SugarPlum range at CC Designs, flowers are Prima and the sentiments are also CC Designs.

On the left-hand inside I have created a small pocket to insert a gift-card into.

Check out the Copics Colour Challenge blog to see the beautiful card that the rest of the DT have created and I hope you get a chance to share your creation with us.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Easter

The challenge this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar is to make something for Easter.

We have a great prize this week of the below gift voucher which has very kindly been donated by Bryony from Silly Monkey Crafts. Thank you Bryony!

For this card and and little Easter Egg holder I have used images from CC designs Gingersnap Spring set all of which have been coloured with copics, DP is Imaginisce For Peep's Sake, brads are Doodlebug sugared and all ribbon, blooms and other embelishments from my stash. The cute little popcorn holder was cut with my cricut using the Tags, Bags and Boxes cartridge and what a great cartridge this is proving to be, the scalloped edge on the handle was cut using a stampin up border punch.

The cute little rabbit that I have used in this photograph is a 99p keyring from Asda which I have cute the key-ring bit off of. This was my first effort at a nice display photo rather than just a photo of the card and box.

Have a great week and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for Easter.
