Pixie Dust Studios - Challenge 42 - Swirly Swirls

This week over on the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge Blog our theme is Swirls. We want to see your cards/projects that include them.

I have used Snowmen Do Laundry from the Christmas Cuties collection on my card along with some papers by Dovecraft. I have cut the swirls with a Quickutz die and them covered them with some stickles for a bit of sparkle.
I have followed the sketch this week at Sunday Sketch and Stamp

Be sure to check out the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge Blog to see the rest of the DT creations.

Nutshells Challenge #25 - Fall colours

Our challenge this time is to make something using Fall/Autumn Colors. So it's time to get out those oranges, greens, reds, yellows--anything that reminds you of Fall. You can create anything, as long as you use products that are sold over in the Nutcrafter's store.

You have until Oct. 6th to enter. We have some exciting things happening at Nutcrafter's!! We are going to have some major releases coming soon, so be sure that you watch for those. There are some Christmas images in our Harriet Hurst line that you will just have to have in your collection!! The Christmas shop just opened at the Nutcrafter's store, so be sure to go check it out!!

I have used the Nutshells witch on my Halloween goodie bag here along with some Halloween papers left over from last year. The kids just love these sweetie bags and I really need to get some more done in time for the big day!! I also need to stop eating the sweets as I pack the bags!!!

Remember you must use ANY stamp that the Nutcrafters store carries to qualify for the prize!!! That makes it nice and easy for everyone to participate!! So go over to Nutcrafters and see the selection of stamps. Be sure to check out one of the newest additions...Pink Pamper. You will love her and part of your purchase money goes to fight Breast Cancer!!

All you have to do is make your creation and leave a link in the comment section of the Nutshell's post with a direct link to your project, not your blog, your project prior to Oct.6th (this is a two week challenge).

Have fun.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 123 - Spots and Stripes

Our challenge this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar was chosen by our own Joanne and she has asked for Spots and Stripes.

We are sponsored this week by Melissa from Meljen designs and she is kindly offering four of her digi images to one lucky winner. You can check these out Here at Whimsy Stamps.

Melissa kindly also gave the DT some of her gorgeous images to work with this week and I have chosen to use this super cute Cowboy Teddy. The papers are by K&Co and I have followed the sketch this week at Cute Card Thursday

I hope you get some time to look out all those spots and stripes and have some fun with us this week.

A Little Birdie told me.......

I have a card to share with you today featuring the new Birdie Tag digi stamp from the Orange Bird Studio collection which you can purchase Here and it will also be available in rubber real soon.

The papers that I have used to compliment it are all from last years My Minds Eye collection and the metal sentiment is from my stash.

I have followed the fab sketch this week at Friday Sketchers

I was so pleased with the results of this card that I decided to cover a little box to match. This would be ideal to give as a Christmas present containing some jewellery or even some yummy chocolates!!

You will notice from this photo that I have stamped different sentiments on the tags. The tags are blank on the image so you can use the image for what ever occasion you wish - would be brilliant for thank you cards etc.

Have a fun week.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Anything Goes - Challenge 122

I have managed to combine 3 challenges with this card. At A Spoon Full of Sugar this week the theme is "anything goes" so we are looking forward to lots of variety in the entries this week. I have chosen to use an old Whiff of Joy stamp this week - I had forgotten how much I loved this one when it came out. I am entering it at Whiff of Joy challenge this week where they are looking for lots of layers on your cards and the sketch that I have followed is the current one at Friday Sketchers. This was a great sketch which I really enjoyed and I will certainly be using this one again.

The papers are all from Imaginsce Cottage Christmas pad and I have only added a small bit of ribbon and a papermania sentiment, and 3 little gems as I thought that the card was busy enough with all the layers of paper and felt that anymore embelishments would just clutter it completely.

Please do pop on over to the A Spoon Full of Sugar blog Here to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and also to read all about the sponor and prize on offer this week.

Back up and running again with a cute Christmas Card

Hello and welcome to another Monday and another week.

I got home from holiday last Sunday but I have had the busiest week ever at work since I got back and it was only yesterday that I finally managed to get some time in my craftroom to get back into the crafting swing of things and I have a whole load of gorgeous new Squiggle Stamps images to play with.

I have used one of the new Christmas images on my card here today and this one is called Mr Elf and you can get him Here. Isn't he just perfect for getting started on all those Christmas Cards. The papers that I have used on this one are last year's Bo Bunny Christmas ones and these little bell buttons I have had in my stash for ages. I have followed the sketch this week at Sketch Saturday.

The September challenge also started while I was away and this one is such a great one for everyone as the theme is "Anything Goes" so any teme....colour.....project.....anything you like so long as it features a Squiggle Image and with images starting at just 99p how can you not take part? Do pop on over to the blog and read all about the challenge Here - there is a fabulous prize up for grabs for one lucky person.

Have a great week.

Nutshells Challenge - Pretty in Pink

Oh, I am so sorry. I have only just realised that this post that I had scheduled, has never posted. I had set it to appear last Wednesday at the same time as the latest challenge at Nutshells and today is the first chance that I have had to look at my blog and notice that it has not appeared.

The theme for this new challenge is "Pretty in Pink". You can create anything, as long as you use a product that is sold in the Nutcrafters store and of course use Pink Somewhere on your card.

The image that I have used on this card is one from the Pink Pamper digi set that Nutcrafters have launched this year for Breast Cancer Awareness.

You can read all about this fab set Here.

I hope you get some time to join in the fun with us.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 119 - sketch by Paola

I have just got back from 2 weeks holidays and only just realised that I never got round to posting this week's card that I made for the challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar.

Our challenge this week was picked by our very own Paola and she has created a fab sketch for us all to follow,Don't forget you can Flip or rotate the sketch as long as we can still see the original sketch on your card.

Our sponsor this week is Bella Digi Studio and I have used their Best Friends Digi image on my card here - aren't these 2 just too cute for words.

Please remember to join us at A Spoon Full tomorrow when our next challenge will be up and running (unfortunately I won't have a card ready for tomorrow, but will hopefully get one done as the week progresses)
